e n t r y n o . 1

Hi. I guess I should explain myself. When I started bullet journaling last September
I tried writing "lines of gratitude" which are basically just one or two sentences written daily explaining what made that day special or who/what you are acknowledging your gratitude for. The whole process overall was a success and helped me reflect on what really matters in my life. Inevitably, I had many days where I would forget to write something and eventually I  put the process on hold until I could come up with a better way of tracking my thoughts. I assessed the situation and it seems to me that my bullet journal isn't about personal reflection, it's about getting shit done. Creativity and task work do not combine will in my mind.

I found this reflection important and useful for keeping a positive mindset so I figured I'd try the same process over here, but with a twist. And so, I present to you, the virtual "dear diary"! I don't know when or why or what I'll be writing, but I feel like this is a fun new direction to send my energy..
I'm now going to go eat some non-dairy Haagen Dazs ice cream. I bought a "Mocha Chocolate Cookie" pint for the first time the other day and it's *DELICIOUS*. For real. Drooling.. Ok, bye.
